WARNING This may not be a fair and balanced review.Well, maybe it is but I felt the need to put a disclaimer considering some people out there might actually like this book though I have no idea why I figure the best way to about this review is to summarize and add in my thoughts as we go because, honestly, the time to sum up this plot will only take about 500 characters Soooo, we ll start with the heroine Who is by far the worst female character I have ever read, hands down Not only is WARNING This may not be a fair and balanced review.Well, maybe it is but I felt the need to put a disclaimer considering some people out there might actually like this book though I have no idea why I figure the best way to about this review is to summarize and add in my thoughts as we go because, honestly, the time to sum up this plot will only take about 500 characters Soooo, we ll start with the heroine Who is by far the worst female character I have ever read, hands down Not only is she desperate to be funny and witty she is extremely annoying and honestly, she s not a good person She is vain and selfish and spoiled She lashes out at anyone who offers advise on how to better herself while playing the woe is me card at every possible chance It began at childhood really but the conflict in this book began when she, above her 2 warrior sisters, was chosen to be marked by the evil Vampire queen The heroine may not have all of the limitations yet like living in darkness and killing and murdering but she is experiencing blood cravings She tries to hide it from her sisters but they find out and stage an intervention to offer her the Heal, which will save her soul if it works but damn her if it doesn t Typical, she rejects their offer The relationship between the 3 sisters was very unbalanced and uncomfortable It really seemed like they were true enemies rather than family and most of it has to be with the heroine s differences from them Not just the vampire hunter vampire thing but also mentality The hero, if that s what you chose to call him as he is in fact the closest this book came to a male lead, is a very old fashioned vampire who is bound to the evil queen Despite this, the heroine enjoys a late night date but in the follow day, she discovered he had betrayed her and given his queen valuable information This leads to the death of a good friend to the heroine which in turn sparks the desire for the death of the bitch responsible She storms the gates with guns blazingonly to discover it won t be that easy to kill the powerful queen, who figured Instead the book takes a turn to show a tiny sliver of romance between the heroine and the man enslaved to the queen but eager to help the heroine in any way he can BU, he dies shortly after leaving the heroine to flee to her sisters to warn them of the pending war the queen is starting There you have it Such as it is Returning to the disclaimer in the beginning, I feel the end to start this warning because once I realized this was in fact an urban fantasy NOT a romance, I mentally gave up any interest in the plot However, the question is, if this book hadromance, or even a little romance at all, would it have been an improvement and the answer is no I hated every single one of the characters to the point where it became a psychical pain in my ass No redeemable qualities in any of them The plotline was extremely dull and boring with the scenes so dragged out and over analyzed that I wanted to throw the book across the room Why, if I hated this book so much have I decided to keep it you may be asking yourself Answer 2017 Reading Challenge Damn it, I will read my 150 books by June and if I must suffer with the knowledge of this poop in my library than so be itit can tossed away next year anyway

Tashya Crosse didn t expect to the the Crosse sister to fulfill her destiny by becoming a vampire She also didn t expect to fall in love with Heath Lockridgea 200 year old vampire When a new Queen Vamp comes to town, Tash decides to infiltrate her army As a semi human, she figures Lady Jasmine will not be able to control her Well, she s in for a surprise.I was bored with this book It s too much like the other two books in the series Nothing new My rating 2 Stars.

Silhouette Bombshell 137Darkheart Crosse 3This one centered on the third triplet The thing that annoyed me most was that the series seemed to focuson fashion and name dropping than on vampires and romance Totally not what I was looking for when I picked these novels up I have finally finished and overall, I think there was a god intention, but for me it fell flat with the whiny personalities and the slave to fashion mentality of all three sisters.

Overall, a pretty good series I had trouble with the flighty characters, Crosse Triplets and to follow their thought process was a little difficult After a bit of reading I was able to settle into their thoughts and it read easier I liked that each sister got a book, how they came to terms with what they are.
